Beyond fashions, Provençal creations managed to come through the ages and to stand out naturally. Warm colours used by painters, santons (crib figures), wrought-iron craft, distilled perfumes and colourful altar-candles are a real blessing for talented designers.

Local craftsmen have got this highly valued style but they also own a special know-how. Their age-old technique is a precious good they will be eager to share with you.

Regional products

Here, the quality of the landscape is echoed by the quality of production. The land bathed with light give tasty products, with concentrated savours, flooded with sunlight. In Val de Provence, taking care of one’s health comes with the pleasure of good food.

Farmers make a point of honour of producing the most beautiful fruits and vegetables in Provence: tomatoes, salads, courgettes, aubergines, apples, pears, nectarines and peaches… Every last one of these tasteful varieties is offered to visitors and creates a patchwork of colours in the countryside as seasons go by.
